For an easier comprehension, some images use, willingly or not, those following standards:

  • If a cubie is correctly oriented and placed, we see it with all his colors.
  • If a cubie is correctly oriented and in his layer (but not placed), we see it only with the color we are sure to be right.
  • If we don't care about a cubie, it's shown with a dark grey.
  • If a cubie is correctly oriented (but not placed and not on his layer), the used color is grey.
  • If a cubie is in his correct layer (but not placed and not oriented), the used color is light grey, except in sometimes if it's an evidence.
  • If a cubie is placed but not oriented, the used color is purple.
  • If a cubie is in an other configuration, the used color is pink.

Examples

OLLinfo.png This is the LL: CO + EO cube state. On this image, most of cubies are correctly placed and oriented, that's why we see all their colors. The cubies of the upper face are correctly oriented and on their correct layer, we see them only with the color we are sure to be right (yellow). The other part of those cubies of the upper face are kind of light grey since they are on their correct layer, they might be dark grey too because it is an evidence.

The other part of the upper face is kind of light grey since those cubies are on their correct layer, they might be dark grey too because it is an evidence.
