I recently received a 2 layered (2x2) dodecahedron from my classmate and my friend had to scramble it up when I went to the bathroom. Anyway, I can't seem to find a good tutorial that actually helps me solve it with all the different cases, what to do etc. I am able to successfully solve the first layer of the cube, but stuck after that.

I am relatively new to cubing and have been doing it for around 4 weeks and this is my first ever non-wca puzzle.

If anyone can help I'd be grateful,

James

Hi Everyone thanks for the replies,

I am talking about the LanLan 2 Layered Dodecahedron, sorry if I didn't make it clear through my post :/
Ahhh, it's no problem. I guess it's the cube companies' problem because of how similar the puzzles are called but how different they are. I don't know anything about the LanLan one though. Sorry.

You solve it just like you'd solve a 2x2. It's just a shape modification of a 2x2, so if you can solve a 2x2, you can solve this. It may seem difficult at first, but it's one of those things where you definitely can do it without a tutorial if you put your mind to it. I really recommend spending some more time with it before looking at a tutorial, but if you do end up needing one you can find quite a few by searching "2x2 dodecahedron tutorial" on Google.

Well, I was going to say, "DG, got any insight?", and here we are. Very nice job. :)
