Hello. I own a Moyu Wr M 2021 Maglev
And for the life of me I cannot set it up properly.
I made the mistake as a newbie years ago of changing things randomly and no matter how I set it up now, it's so catchy and locks up a lot.
I don't have access to buying lube so that is out of the question btw.

any help?

this is officially my favorite cube of all time, and Ive done extensive setup on these cubes. if you dont have lube def clean out the cube just to have a clean slate and you dont want any debris in there.

if its catching, it is probably too loose, and you want to make sure your screw depths are even. you can figure that out by using the depth probe on a caliper. or you can just feel the tensions, but that isn't very accurate.

for the clicky tensioning system keep turning them all until you feel a big click and you notice the blue ring do a big drop that means you are on the lightest spring strength. from there, adjust as necessary..

main thing is its important that all tensions are even, and they aren't too loose or too tight. You have one of the greatest cubes of all time!! lots of potential even without lube. honestly tho, get lube. just spend a few bucks on xmt and fz rush from the cubicle. fantastic setup.

Probably the issue is that I can't feel the tensions properly yeah, there is a tool in the box it comes with to check if the screws are even but I have no idea how to use it.

That tool is next to useless. something better than that is completely taking out the screw and counting the revolutions of the screw driver. that works quite well.

Check the core too, changing things randomly (especially without experience) tends to get things broken easily.
