The New Method / Substep / Concept Idea Thread

Hello everyone, I just theorised a new Speedsolving method, that I call JB, that has a relatively low alg count, controlling last slot and last layer in two phases. The method has 4 steps 1)Cross+ 1 corner. 2)Solve 3 f2l pairs. 3)Insert the last f2l edge while making eo and phasing 4)Close the...

    Low algorithm counted LS method

I watched the LXS Google sheets and I found 17 cases where the FR edge is already at place, for four corners to permute it's 68. (There are counted also the situations where the dfr corner is also at place I think

    Low algorithm counted LS method

Yes, you are right about the EO, but there are 17 LXS cases, and during LXS one corner is the dfr, that is gonna be positioned during the alg, but its always on top of FR edge, so I think the remaining corners are four

I tested the variant where you make the whole columns and insert the cross, then you just do eo exactly like In Roux and you finish the same. It works. For the second method I have to think a bit, because I don't know how to do eo with 8 edges ok? When I'll finish I'll send you everything

For B-Mehta (the name I gave to my Mehta APB variant) you can also use the standard 9 LXS cases where the FR edge is inserted and then coll and epll

    Low algorithm counted LS method

Hello everyone, i have tried to develop a new LS method for 3x3 Rubik cubes. The method is a Mehta-APB variant, that has an extremely lower algorithms count than the traditional LS methods like ZB or APB and so going. The method starts like in APB, so with a block on the left. The steps in...

talking about my method, i thought about eliminating VHLS and instead during EO at step three while solving the bottom and then making the pair and applicating WV, so i'll have an OLL skip.

alright, i tested the two variants of the bridge method and they work. I don't know how well, because i am not familiar with floating f2l and i made a lot of moves. so give me some time to make the example solves and i'll send them to you

i am still working on it. it takes me a bit of time, because i just came back home

alright, i will try to test both ways, and i'll give you two example solves, so maybe you will understand better than only with words. by the way, you don't know how to do EO in this case or just you don't know what is it? because in the second case i can explain it to you, or you can just...

The New Method / Substep / Concept Idea Thread

Hi, i would be happy to work with you on your method. i think the starting floating f2l is a grat idea, but a few days ago i thought about something similar and i was making the whole columns, and not just the f2l pairs. after this for me you could do two different things 1) you could insert the...
