PLL on megaminx has over 150 cases, and I will list them here below, in a style similar to the PLL page.

There are 6 main classes of case: EPLLs, CPLLs, Bunny, Horseface, Mushroom and Additional. The type of case is determined by the type edge cycle present (except for additional).

EPLL/CPLL: These cases are when you skip either edges or corners. I would recommend learning these cases first, because then you can always do 2-look PLL or less.

If you don't have EPLL/CPLL, then you detect the type of case as follows:

First AUF until you have as many edges solved as possible, this will either be 1 or 2.

If it is one, then you have a Bunny case.

If there are 2 adjacent edges solved, it's a Mushroom case.

If there are 2 opposite edges solved, it's a Horseface case.

If then after this AUF, you have only 1 or 0 corners solved, it's an Additional case.
