A blockbuilding approach to solving the 3x3x3, first proposed by Ryan Heise and developed by Michael Gottlieb and Mirek Goljan. The final step involves solving a 'tripod' composed of the three 1x1x2 columns connected to the URF corner piece.The steps are as follows-

1. Build a 2x2x2 block. This is an intuitive step.

2.Build 3 1x2x2 block side by side the 2x2x2 block. This is also an intuitive step.

3. Insert the lat F2L slot.

4. Finish the last layer.
