Thom averages sub-11 with his main method, Roux, which makes him one of the fastest Roux solvers. Additionally, he is known for his wide speedcubing knowledge, having done sub-20 singles using 20 different methods.
Thom is active under the username Kirjava (or simply "kir") on the Speedsolving Forums. At the same time that he contributes frequently to speedcubing theory in such threads as Random Cubing Discussion, he is well known for his snide/immature/off-the-wall/insulting/sarcastic posts. For these stunts he is hated by some and adored by as many others. He has a three-page-long infraction list.
