I think a brief name/description should be added as that will help people who just glance over to work stuff out. -Shadowslice

I think that would be helpful if you would like to do that since you had the idea then go right ahead.

Random note: Just please don't tamper with the steps too much if you decide to do that for some reason or at least let me know. -VDW1014

The problem with the page is that the step explanations are far too long, making them hard to understand. I am trying to shorten some of the steps but I can't even understand what is supposed to be done during some of them because of them being so long. -Bryce Springfield

I know they are lengthy... I'll try to simplify them too. It's just that I have all of these concepts and details in my head that make perfect sense, so getting them across easily is hard. I will try to shorten them too. -Alex

Also, in step five, for LSE, the points made for step five describe what LSE already is, so I will be removing them. I find them to be a tad bit redundant. -Alex

It seems like this method is really similar to three other methods, so merging them into one article might be a good idea (see https://www.speedsolving.com/wiki/index.php/Talk:TICT#Three_very_similar_methods) - RedstoneTim (talk) 10:45, 3 April 2020 (UTC)

Vandalism

It seems like this page has been vandalized by User:Jb perm. Specifically, the year of creation has been changed to 2021, everything from the Skis method passage onwards was deleted and the proposers were removed or changed to a certain "V Sundararajan", which I would assume to be the same person as User:Jb perm judging by their other edits. They do not seem to be a bot (see the 2 holes page which they created) and no other acts of vandalism have been committed by them, so I am not going to ban them, at least not now.

I have removed the vandalism but will keep this section here in order to allow User:Jb perm to explain their reasoning for the edits. - RedstoneTim (talk) 13:54, 10 September 2021 (UTC)

Forgiveness for vandalism

  • FYI
  • I was viewing the page as I do for every method to try and understand it. When I had gone to restroom my brother (who was actually adamant about changing the method to my method) locked me in the restroom for sometime and changed everything. I didn't know everything about the VDW method I changed back everything that I saw related to me (My name, date of proposal).

I apologise for this action of my brother and I promise I will not allow the same to happen again.

  • Yours sincerely,
  • V Sundararajan (Jb perm)

Thanks for telling your side of the story. I talked to Athefre about the vandalism and he informed me that at the day when it happened, you sent him a now deleted message which stated that you had just added a new method page to the wiki. He also explained that later, after the edits had partially been undone, you sent him another message detailing the steps of your new method which clearly resembled those of VDW. Do you have any explanation for this? As I have said before, I am not going to take any more measures against this incident since I believe that this is not going to get repeated. I would really just like to know what happened exactly since your current description of events does not seem to be the whole truth. - RedstoneTim (talk) 15:51, 18 September 2021 (UTC)
