Talk:2-Gen

From Speedsolving.com Wiki

On the 2GLL and CPLS page, there is a link to 2-generator, which does not exist. Perhaps this page should be renamed, or have one of them (2-gen or 2-generator) redirect to the other. -Erzz

Changed those two pages so that 2-generator now links to 2-gen. --Erzz 15:19, 7 June 2011 (EDT)

I just discovered that the 2x2 Cube can be generated by <F, R, L>, e.g., Ux = R' L Fx L' R. Hence, we can also generate <F, R, L, U>, <F, R, L, U, B> and <F, R, L, U, B, D> from <F, R, L>. It's been known for a long time that the 3x3 Cube can be generated by <F, B, R, L, D> as Ux = R L' F2 B2 R L' Dx L R' B2 F2 L R'. On [1] we find a discussion that the 3x3 Cube (and hence the 2x2 cube) are both 2-gen. Cuc (talk) 10:36, 15 May 2017 (UTC)
