Talk:Average of 5

Is this needed

Hello, is this page really needed? The Average page already contains everything on the subject. Why do we need a page for Ao5 specifically? You might as well add pages for Mo3, Ao12, Ao50, Ao100, etc.

About the page

Well because I saw the Average page but they didn't specify how to calculate specifically on average of 5, and since this is basically Wikipedia for cubing community, I thought I would make a page specifically on ao5 and show new cubers or someone who doesn't know how to calculate ao5 the calculation and the explanation is also super specific, focusing on discussing what ao5 is. I will probably make more pages like you said mo3, ao12, ao50, ao100 in the future.

On a side note the average page only focus on wider range of what an "average" is on cubing but not about (as well as their calculation) ao5, ao12 etc..

There are some examples on the Average page but I agree it could be clearer. It'd be better to have a section with the most common averages on that page. We really really do not want a page for every different type of average, that would only make it more annoying to navigate and find the information.

I mean sure if you could add this entire page into the "average" page. That'll be fine but also add ao12, ao50, ao100 as well as mo3 to specifically show what they mean and their calculations.
