In one-handed speedsolving, table abuse is the technique of frequently using the table to get unstuck or to more easily execute a move. Roux OH solvers are especially known for their table abuse for M-slice turns and have turned it into a veritable style.
The term was originally negative. Indeed, the legality of table abuse was a common question for several years (when?), although it has never appeared in the WCA regulations.
