A sticker is a layer covering for puzzles (in twisty puzzle context) that is used for separating cubies and the whole cube (typically) has 1 color for each separate faces. A Color Scheme is the shade, color and position of stickers in a puzzle.

There can also be stickers that are not of one specific color for each 1/2 part(or 1/3 for corners) of cubies, for example, house cubes.
