Slow solving a form of practice in where the speedcuber performs a number of untimed solves while not caring about speed, thus the term "Slow solves" or "Slow Solving".  These are usually done with the counterintuitive goal of achieving faster speeds by improving skills easier strengthened by sloving slower, such as lookahead, fluidity, or overall efficiency. It is generally considered one of the best ways to lower solving times for most puzzles or events(there are some exceptions, for example Blindfolded solving).
