Information about the method
Proposer(s): David Salvia
Proposed: 1981
Alt Names: none
Variants: With OLL and PLL, with 1LLL
No. Steps: 6 to 8 (depending on LL)
No. Algs: unknown
Avg Moves: 44
Purpose(s):

An experimental method by David Salvia. The novelty of his method is in the first two layers.

The Method

First two layers

  • 1. Adjacent middle-layer edges: RF and LF (3-4 moves)
  • 2. First-layer corners
  • 3. Other middle-layer edges (7-8 moves)
  • 4. First-layer edges

Last layer

  • 1. CLL (Corners of the Last Layer)
  • 2. ELL (Edges of the Last Layer)

A variation of this 2LLL (2-look last layer), OLL then PLL could be used. ZBLL with edge control or M-CELL may also be used for the last layer.
