Rowe Hessler

Rowe Hessler is an American speedcuber from New York known for his achievements first in 3x3 BLD and multi-BLD in 2008, and later in 2x2, 3x3, and 3x3 OH. At his peak around 2010, he was considered among the fastest 3x3 speedsolvers in the world.
Rowe first made his name as a world-class 3x3 BLD solver, setting the North American multi-BLD records in 2007 and 2008. Moving on to other events, he set the world record for 2x2 single and average. Since setting the North American 3x3 average record in 2009, he has been considered one of the fastest 3x3 solvers in North America and in the world. He was the 3x3 Speedsolve US Champion for 2009 and 2010, and was the first person to defend the title, only sharing the honors with Max Park (2017-2018).
More recently, Rowe has been having new endeavors with the BLD events again, eventually achieving an unofficial multi-BLD result of 60/61 59:02. He has also begun working on his speed with Square-1, currently ranking in the top 50 averages.
Rowe was famous for his TPS. He has inspired the phrase "ROWE SPEED!"
