Richard Meyer is an American speedcuber best known for proposing the Meyer method.
At one point, in 2008, he was in the top 100 in the world in every event he had competed in, and 22nd in the world for the 5x5x5 Cube. He briefly joined the Marine Corps thereafter and was the Sergeant in the USMC.
Meyer was also one of the staff members at US Nationals 2012.
