Purpose(s):

Pure OLL is a 1LLL subset that solves for last layer cases which have all pieces correctly permuted, but not correctly oriented.

Although it seems like a good subset to learn, recognition for Pure OLL cases are longer and harder to preform compared to OLL, ELL, etc.
