A pop is when the puzzle you are solving pops open (one piece or multiple pieces pop out) during a solve. This may be caused from multiple reasons. Some include: The tensions being too loose, or the puzzle just being bad.

If a pop occurs during your solve you can choose to reassmble it if not serious, or make your time a DNF if serious ( i.e like a popped Eastsheen 5x5).
