Phil Yu (also known as a small kitten or variations thereof) is an Asian-American speedcuber from Plainsboro, New Jersey. Since 2010, he has been among the fastest one-handed cubers in the world, and the fastest to use the ZZ method (together with the VH system). Although he has posted several record-shattering home Ao5 videos at several points in the OH WR progression, he has never set an official world record.

Phil is currently an undergraduate at NYU. In 2011, a small kitten and fellow NYU student cuber James Chang opened an online cube store, The Cubicle.
