PDR also known as "Partial Domino Reduction" is a submethod mostly used in FMC (Fewest Moves) First record of this submethod being mentioned, is by Alexandre Henrique Afonso Campos on this thread on speedsolving forum: Speedsolving Thread

The submethod consists in orienting edges in 2 axis of the cube FB and RL for example, and then only use <F2 R2 B2 L2 U U' U2 D D' D2 > moves. The objective consists on getting a Skeleton and insert the last corners with commutators.
