National Record

The National Record (or NR) for an official event is the best known result achieved in an official solve in competition for that event for the solver's home country up to a certain point in time. This is accompanied by an official national rank of 1 in that event, and is thus the highest possible honor a solve can have for that specific country.
Terminology
A national record is determined by the best single or average done in competition by a citizen of a certain country, NOT by which country it is performed in.
