Mike Hughey ("hue-ee," not "hug-hey") is an American speedcuber from Indianapolis, Indiana. He is best known for his world-class results in 4x4 and 5x5 blindfolded as well as unofficial milestone achievements in big cube BLD and multiBLD.

Mike has hosted the Weekly competition on Speedsolving Forums since March 2010, taking over from Arnaud van Galen.

  • 7x7 blindfolded (July 2, 2008)
  • Square-1 10/10 multiBLD (December 12, 2010)
  • 8x8 blindfolded (May 5, 2012)

Trivia

Mike uses a modified color scheme: "The original color scheme in the USA (back in the early 80's) was the same as the Japanese color scheme, which was basically the same as mine but with green and yellow swapped."
