Mike Hughey ("hue-ee", not "hug-hey") is an American speedcuber from Indianapolis, Indiana. He is best known for his world-class results in 4x4 and 5x5 blindfolded as well as unofficial milestone achievements in big cube BLD and multiBLD.
Mike has hosted the Speedsolving.com Weekly competition since March 2010, taking over from Arnaud van Galen.
His wife, Gloria, and three daughters, Rebecca, Marie, and Rachel, have also competed in WCA competitions.
Milestones
Unofficial BLD firsts
Mike was the first person to (unofficially) achieve the following.

- 8x8 blindfolded (May 7, 2012)
- Square-1 10/10 multiBLD (December 12, 2010)
Trivia
- Mike uses a modified color scheme: "The original color scheme in the USA (back in the early 80's) was the same as the Japanese color scheme, which was basically the same as mine but with green and yellow swapped."
