Master Pyramorphix
The Mastermorphix (4-color version) is solveable just like the 3x3x3. but here is a small step by step guide that may help you based off of the petrus method!
build a 2x2x2 block
To do this first orient 3 centers in the proper direction (so you have yellow blue - blue red - red yellow) on the 3 edges going clockwise for example. Now insert using f2l the corner with one of the edges (yellow red or blue) repeat the above for the same corner 3 times (once for each edge.
Build the corner and 2 outer edges of 2 colors.
For example, build on yellow by placeing together one corner and 1 edge, then place the 2nd edge and insert into place on the yellow face. (This will take practice - you may end up with inversed triangle around your face - this is NOT PARITY) [Just reverse one of the edges i.e, R U2 R' U2 L U' L'] build this on 2 of the colors from your 2x2x2 block (red/blue/yellow in this case)
Insert the last f2l pair if required.
Last Layer
For this step look at the actual orientation of the edges (correctly oriented vs. not oriented!) Use the above to determine if you have the bar case; or the Crooked bar case Think of the top layer as if it were the 3x3x3, turn the top layer 45degrees so you have it facing you just like a side on the 3x3x3 Remember! there are 2 sets of 2 identically colored edges! (use this to your advantage - U-perms)
Notes:
* Rotate one center 180degrees ( [R U R' U]x6 ) - this will keep all other pieces oriented. * Rotate one corner 120degrees ( [L' U' L U] [L' U2' L] [R U R' U R U2' R'] ) * Notable algorithms from 3x3x3 o J-Perms o T-Perm o U-Perms o A-perms o 2-look OLL cases (Sune/Bar/L-shape)
