Leo Borromeo is a Phillippian speedcuber. He is regarded as one of the best cubers in the Phillipines and Asia. He is also sponsored by GAN. He holds the Philippian record for 4X4 single and average and 3X3 oh average. He has set 11 NR (National Record) and 1 CR (Continental Record) over the course of his many cubing competition. He won 36 events, finished second in 26 events and finished third in 6 events across the various Rubik's Cube competitions he participated in.

History

Leo Borromeo began cubing in the Cebu Open 2015. He finished his first competition with a 30.47 single and 37.74 average in 3X3, and finished 28th in the competition, didn't going past the first round. He won in first event in a cube competition at 3X3 event in Cebu Open 2017, finishing with a 7.83 single and 9.47 average. He set his first NR with 5.96 3X3 single at Visayas Championship 2017 first round and then set the average 3X3 NR of 7.51 seconds at the same competition in the final round. He then again set the average NR in 3X3 of 7.15 seconds at the final round of Cebu Masters 2018 and then again set the average 3X3 record of 7.05 seconds at the Philippine Championship 2018 first round. He then set the 5.12 single NR and 6.37 Average CR, both at the Bonfacio Memorial 2018 competition first round. He then set the 4X4 NR single of 26.40 seconds at the final round of City Of Love Open 2019. Then he set the 2X2 single NR of 1.14 seconds at the final round of Cebu Masters 2019. After that he set the the 4X4 average NR of 28.81 seconds at the Negros Speedcubing Open 2019 final round and then set the 4X4 single NR of 23.28 seconds at the Cebu Speedcubing Year End 2019 competition final round. He then set the 11.01 OH average NR at the first round of Cebu Open 2020 and then set the 4X4 NR single of 22.63 seconds at the final round of the same competition. He then finished as Monkey League runners-up in both season 1 and 2.
