Jim Mertens is an American speedcuber from Ohio. He is a founding member of the KOII (Kentucky Ohio Indiana Illinois) Cube Club together with Shaden Smith and Carson Penticuff.

Together with Bryan Logan, Jim maintains CubingUSA. Jim also created live.cubing.net.
