Inspection

Inspection refers to the short timeframe before each WCA solve in which the solver can view the puzzle and plan out their first moves. Inspection is also used in most unofficial events as well.
The solver can inspect the puzzle for up to 15 seconds. After 15 seconds, a +2 penalty is given to the solver. After 17 seconds, a DNF penalty is given to the solver.
