Ratings for Type-C
Based on 7 ratings

Lockup Resistance: 7.57
Cutting Corners: 8.21
Pop Resistance: 7.93
Quietness: 7.0

Type C cubes are somewhat choppy, loud and very fast, faster than Type A and less prone to lockups than Type D. This may be the fastest non-hybrid cube. Some say that it is a replica of the Rubik's DIY, but various improvements on the design have been made. The older verson have plastic washers and center caps that falls off easily; the current verson have metal washers and sturdy caps. Many speedcubers use this type.

Type-C (v1.5), and Type-C (Retooled)

Essentially the same cube, but with slightly modified center piece which allows easier removal. The retooled verson have indents on the two opposite corner of the center, and the v1.5 have centers similar to the Japanese Speedcube Kit.

Mini-C

At 50mm, this is the largest of the Mini 3x3x3's. Compared to regular sized cubes of 57mm, on paper its not a large amount smaller, but it certainly feels a fair bit smaller in your hands. For a mini cube it performs extremely well, with some speedcubers actually using it as their main cube. If you have small hands and find normal cubes just a little too large, then this slightly smaller cube could be ideal. This cube also makes an excellent travel cube, as it fits fairly well into pockets and still allows full use of fingertricks.

Type-C II

Ratings for Type-C II
Based on 4 ratings
Smoothness/Speed: 9.0
Lockup Resistance: 8.38
Cutting Corners: 8.13
Pop Resistance: 7.38
Quietness: 6.25
Reliability: 8.0
Weight: unknown
Overall: 8.63

This is a smooth and lightweight cube. Its rounded corners (similar to the Type-F) make it great at cutting corners.
