Georges Helm is a cuber from Luxembourg. He is famous for his large and unique collection of early Rubik cubes and solution books, and for his website which has been online since 1995.

Georges Helm originates from Pétange in Luxembourg. He worked as a civil servant, and he speaks seven languages (Luxembourgish, German, French, English, Italian, Greek and Portuguese). His wife gave him his first cube (a Hearts picture cube) in Easter 1981. He visited and corresponded with experts such as David Singmaster, Christoph Bandelow and many others.

He founded a Luxembourg Rubik's Cube Club in the 1980s: he published a newsletter called "De Cubist", which ran for four issues. He has stated that "at that moment and after having advertised in 2 Luxembourgian periodicals, I was acquainted with four cubists (!)"[2]

He has a huge collection of cubes, which he stated in 2010 was "more than 1,600". His collection is concentrated on the "historic" cubes from the late 1970's and early 1980's, and he is a renowned expert on early cubes. He also has more than 600 books and solution guides making him "the" cube literature expert.

His website has been online since December 1995. It contains galleries of his cube and book collections, a complete archive of the Cube Lovers mailing list (July 1980—January 2000), information on the Nederlandse Kubus Club, and even a mirror of Philip Marshall's "Ultimate Solution" for Rubik's cube solving.
