EOLL, short for Edge Orientation of the Last Layer, is a substep in which one orients the edges of the last layer. EOLL can be of three types: the most basic is when corners are ignored completely, the second level preserves corner orientation (the usal OLLs) and the highest level also preserves corner permutation.
