EOCross is a variant to EOLine. In this variant, instead of an EOLine, an EOCross is built, which orients all the edges and permutes the ones on the D-layer (so that a Cross is formed). This variant makes the move count of ZZ slightly higher and inspection harder, but at the same time allows for better lookahead, almost no regrips and higher TPS.
It is considered to be superior to EOLine for two-handed solving by most ZZ solvers.
