Dan Cohen is an American speedcuber. Since 2007, he has consistently ranked among the top big cube solvers in the world. He has held the world record in 4x4, 5x5, 6x6, and 7x7 at multiples times between 2008 and 2011. In particular, this makes him one of the few viable rivals to Feliks Zemdegs in those categories.

Dan started cubing in 2007 as a result of influence by Jon Choi.[1]
Struggle for Top (2009-current)
Once labeled the uncontested king of big cubes, Dan's times, while still very fast, his times are now longer world dominating. Americans Kevin Hays and Kevin Costello III have successfully stripped Cohen of all national records. Still Cohen is a very relevant cuber today. His sum of all average ranks places him second, only behind Japan's Yu Nakajima.
