Andrej Karpathy

Andrej Karpathy, Ph.D. (more commonly known as badmephisto) is a Canadian cuber famous for his CFOP tutorial videos on YouTube and later other guides on his website. Since 2008, other cubers who have since become influential in the community learned to cube through his YouTube tutorials. There hasn't been much activity on his channel since 2013.
After he stopped posting videos, he begun working at Google X, got a Ph.D. in Computer Science at Stanford University, and later moved on to working as a Research Scientist at OpenAI, and now is the Director of AI at Tesla.
