3x3x3 No Inspection
3x3x3 No Inspection is a former WCA event requiring one to solve a cube without the standard 15 second inspection time, instead the competitor removes a covering object after starting the timer. The event tests one's Lookahead as the lack of planning time forces the solver to think constantly, causing pauses.
Official Status
3x3x3 No Inspection was added as an official WCA event on January 13th, 2006. See Article H of the 2006 regulations. 6 months later, 3x3x3 No Inspection was removed from the list of events on July 20th, 2006. See version 2 of the 2006 revision.
Unofficial World Record
The average of 10 unofficial world record in this category is 13.23 seconds, obtained by Mitsuki Gunji on December 31st, 2007. Obtaining official records of this event is difficult, due to it no longer being an official event.
