Talk:ELL

From Speedsolving.com Wiki

I'm making images for this page ATM, there are already some but diffrent layouts and also diffrent from what I'm creating... I make images for all cases so the page gets a uniform look =) // Kenneth 09:52, 28 July 2010 (UTC)

Have you seen this? [1]
The style may not be to your liking, but it may save you a lot of work ;-)

Yes, sure, I know about that but it does not save me any work, I got readymade images where I only have to fill in the stickers and that is faster than setting up the algs for each case. Naming, saving and uploading the images it the part that is most time consuming and that I have to do anyway =) // Kenneth 01:47, 29 July 2010 (UTC)
BTW, I will remove the links to the OLL's from the page because OLL does not always preserve corner permutation; L2 (x) U2 R' U' R U2 L' U Rw' (J-PLL like) for example.

Workspace

Note that all of these algorithms are written in the Western notation, where a lowercase letter means a double-layer turn and rotations are denoted by x, y, and z.

Click on an algorithm (not the camera icon) to watch an animation of it.

Pure flips

2-flip (Adjacent)

Alg r U R' U' r' U2 R U R U' R2 U2 R
Alg M U M' U2 M U M U M U2 M' U M2
Alg (x') U2 M2 U R U' M2 U2 M' U' R' U M

2-flip (Opposite)

Alg M' U' M' U' M' U2 M U' M U' M U2
Alg M' d' M d' M' U2 M d M' d M U2

4-flip

Alg M' U2 M U2 M' U' M U2 M' U2 M U

Smile =)

EPLL's

Please do not add algs to the EPLL section, the ones here are just examples, all EPLL's are at the PLL-page, put your contributions there too, else we will end up having to separate lists and we don't want that.

U-PLL a

Alg F2 U M' U2 M U F2

The following four cases are mirror + inverses of the first so you only need '1 alg' for all.

Mirror to the side and inverse in diagonal.

RF-flip U-PLL b

Alg (y' x') M' U' R U M U' R' U

B edge in position but fliped

The first six cases in this group are the worst of ELL, and that counts for both recognition and solving :-/
