Corners First, normally CF, are speedcubing methods that solves the corners as the first steps. Not many uses CF for 3x3x3 nowdays but it was wery popular in the 80's. Even fewer uses it for big cubes but for 2x2x2 it is the only option, it has got only corners so CF is widley used for speedsolving the 2x2x2. Most popular methods are Guimond and Ortega but also Waterman (CLL) is used by many.
