Skewb

The Skewb is a cube-shaped puzzle consisting of 6 centre pieces and 8 corner pieces, four of which are attached to the central core. It is a deep-cut puzzle - ie. each cut goes through the center of the puzzle and half of the puzzle changes when it is turned.

Skewb ultimate

The skewb ultimate is based on the same central mechanism as the skewb, except the cube shape has been expanded into a dodecahedron. This makes the puzzle slightly more difficult, as the center pieces also need to be put in the correct orientation.

Skewb diamond

The skewb diamond also uses the same mechanism as the skewb. This means that the pieces from any of the 3 puzzles can be interchanged. The skewb diamond is a cube that has been modified into an octahedron, by truncating each corner and extending each center into a pyramid.
