Jonathan Esparaz

Jonathan Esparaz is a Canadian speedcuber. He goes by the nickname "Jon", and he is known as "Genius4Jesus" in the online cubing community.
The WCA events he specializes in are: 3x3, 4x4, 5x5, Square-1 and OH. With an official average of 13.77, he is the third fastest OH solver in Canada, ranked fifteenth in North America and ranked forty-seventh in the world (these rankings being his current best in any event).
Jon is proclaimed to be the "Fastest Jonathan in the World", meaning he has the best official 3x3 average (9.06 seconds) of anyone in the WCA database with the first name Jonathan.
Jon supports the child development organization Compassion Canada. Jon wears a Compassion Canada t-shirt or hoodie to every WCA competition he attends.
Jon has competed in 20 official WCA competitions. He has achieved 2 gold medal finishes, 9 silver medal finishes and 22 bronze medal finishes.
