The Bullfight's release came after the Phoenix did, so for a while, many people thought that QiYi had re-branded the Newisland Phoenix. However, Newisland later came clean and admitted that the Phoenix was indeed a knockoff of the Bullfight.

The '''6x6x6 cube''' (normally referred to as the '''6x6x6''' or '''6x6''') is a twistable [[puzzle]] in the shape of a cube that is cut five times along each of three axes. The only available brand for this puzzle was the [[V-Cube]], which was patented by [[Panagiotis Verdes]]. The V-Cube 6x6 incorporates a clicking mechanism designed to keep the hidden middle layer in alignment with the rest of the pieces. Several mods have been developed to fix this, most notably the MeMyselfandPi 6x6 mod, which involves eliminating the clicking mechanism and using pins instead to keep the inner middle layer in alignment. Shengshou released their 6x6x6 in mid-2011. Other 6x6x6 cubes have since been released by [[Moyu]], [[QiYi]], and [[YuXin]]. Most 6x6x6 cubes developed after the V-Cube use an internal alignment mechanism and do not have a clicking mechanism.

There are two different types of Type-D cubes. Generation one Type-D's come in many different colors: Pink, Green and Black and White. The generation 2 Type-D's, also known as Type-D II are white. The stickers that come with the Type-D II are somewhat textured and do not peel off easily. The spinning is very smooth, rarely locks up, cuts corners but sometimes pops if spinning too violently. Each [[cubie]] is fully closed and has caps that rarely fall off. If they fall off, to fix it, just simply place the cap back on and push down. The MoYu HuanYing is known for having a minimal plastic feel with nothing but the frame of the cube’s interior design. The minimal plastic makes the cube much lighter than it’s competitors, but also makes a lot of noise when speed solving. MoYu took the torpedo design and flattened out the piece, which is very different from the common torpedo structure. The stickers it came with are very bright, usually cubes come with very dull stickers but this one doesn't, they're very good quality. It literally never ever pops. But if you handle it harshly the corners can twist accidentally. Overall it's a great speedcube, a bit noisy.

The interior design is very interesting. Upon first look, the cube looks no different than any other cube, but the inside has very little plastic except of what is only necessary for the cube to function. This causes the cube to be very lightweight and have less friction when turning the cube.

The edge pieces have a bit of a simplistic look up until you get to the very end of the piece. The lip on the edge piece has a nice curve that compliments the corner pieces very well. MoYu seems to have also changed the torpedo on the HuanYing. This “flattened” out torpedo hugs the edge pieces to the corner pieces very well, and seems to reduce the popping significantly. An issue with this is that the cube locks up more since there is no breathing room in the torpedos.

The corner pieces do not show much differences than that of other cubes. It isn’t elongated like the Dayan series, but instead has a distance that seems to have the corner piece “hug” the rest of the cube. Like the edges, there is little breathing room which reduces popping but causes lock-ups.

==== MoYu WeiLong ====

The WeiLong was created after the HuanYing, and with good reason. The HuanYing had some good qualities about it; but like any new cubing company, it is their first cube, and the first cube is never the best.

Understanding what could be better, MoYu took what cubers liked and made it better; while they took what others didn’t like and did their best to fix them. This would include keeping the squished torpedo, adding more plastic to the interior corner pieces, and making the corner cutting even better.

The WeiLong resulted in a fuller cube with less clicks, and fewer lock ups while maintaining quick rotations, great corner cutting, and added stability to keep it all together.

The MoYu WeiLong was a cube that MoYu needed to continue their fame as a brand, and they did just that. The WeiLong has all the great qualities that every cuber looks for, but with the special touch that MoYu brings to make themselves different from every other speed cubing company out there.

What will make the WeiLong stand out compared to the HuanYing is the enclosed corner pieces as I’ve mentioned before, but they also enlarged the corner shaft to help it hug the edges and center pieces a bit more. The size of the end of the corner piece is smaller to make room for the edge pieces.

The edges are another story as well. Instead of keeping the edge straight until it gets to the torpedo, they added another “torpedo” effect. This effect has the edge stick out near the center that again hugs the center and corner pieces. The actual torpedo is thick and the edge that holds to the center is short to allow more room for the other pieces.

The centers have a lip to supply a more secure anchor for the pieces to hold on to, and a long core piece as a whole which gives a more stable cube and less movement during turns and cuts.

The MoYu WeiLong V2 is the second revision of the tremendously popular MoYu WeiLong. The most notable change is the way in which the pieces are put together. Other than this, the mechanism remains largely unchanged.

==== MoYu AoLong ====

Out of the box, it is very dry, and not unlike a WeiLong until you test out the corner cutting. The corner cutting is fantastic, with an easy 1 1/2 cubies, and 3/4 reverse. After breaking it in and lubing it, the corner cutting becomes much easier, and better, the dry feeling goes away a little (it’s still a little noisy), and it becomes very fast, though it is very easily gummed up by anything wrong, like excess lube, cube dust or water.The stickers are very, very durable.

These cubes are, as the name suggests, available at [http://www.rubiks.com Rubiks.com]. [[DIY]] means that the puzzle arrives disassembled and requires you to assemble it yourself. They have been criticized because the center caps do not stay in as well as some other designs, although this can be fixed with either glue or a small square of paper. A better fit can be achieved once some extra plastic is shaved off. Still, unlike store-bought cubes, the center tensions are adjustable, so these cubes are favored by some cubers.

Rubik's brand 4x4s (before the retooling) are often used by older cubers, since they can be extremely good but require a long time to properly break in. These cubes can get surprisingly loose before they become unusably pop-prone, because unlike the [[Eastsheen]] cubes they do not have internal pops. Rubik's has now re-tooled this cube, and it now has a slightly modified mechanism. People have said that this cube locks up too much and pops too much. This brand fell out of favor with the release of the [[Eastsheen]].

The Rubik's 5x5 is not a very good speedcube and is known by some as a "Rubik's Brick" due to the extreme amount of force that was once required to make turns on this puzzle out of the box. The MoYu HuanYing is known for having a minimal plastic feel with nothing but the frame of the cube’s interior design. The minimal plastic makes the cube much lighter than it’s competitors, but also makes a lot of noise when speed solving. MoYu took the torpedo design and flattened out the piece, which is very different from the common torpedo structure. The stickers it came with are very bright, usually cubes come with very dull stickers but this one doesn't, they're very good quality. It literally never ever pops. But if you handle it harshly the corners can twist accidentally. Overall it's a great speedcube, a bit noisy.

The interior design is very interesting. Upon first look, the cube looks no different than any other cube, but the inside has very little plastic except of what is only necessary for the cube to function. This causes the cube to be very lightweight and have less friction when turning the cube.

The edge pieces have a bit of a simplistic look up until you get to the very end of the piece. The lip on the edge piece has a nice curve that compliments the corner pieces very well. MoYu seems to have also changed the torpedo on the HuanYing. This “flattened” out torpedo hugs the edge pieces to the corner pieces very well, and seems to reduce the popping significantly. An issue with this is that the cube locks up more since there is no breathing room in the torpedos.

The corner pieces do not show much differences than that of other cubes. It isn’t elongated like the Dayan series, but instead has a distance that seems to have the corner piece “hug” the rest of the cube. Like the edges, there is little breathing room which reduces popping but causes lock-ups.

==== MoYu WeiLong ====

The WeiLong was created after the HuanYing, and with good reason. The HuanYing had some good qualities about it; but like any new cubing company, it is their first cube, and the first cube is never the best.

Understanding what could be better, MoYu took what cubers liked and made it better; while they took what others didn’t like and did their best to fix them. This would include keeping the squished torpedo, adding more plastic to the interior corner pieces, and making the corner cutting even better.

The WeiLong resulted in a fuller cube with less clicks, and fewer lock ups while maintaining quick rotations, great corner cutting, and added stability to keep it all together.

The MoYu WeiLong was a cube that MoYu needed to continue their fame as a brand, and they did just that. The WeiLong has all the great qualities that every cuber looks for, but with the special touch that MoYu brings to make themselves different from every other speed cubing company out there.

What will make the WeiLong stand out compared to the HuanYing is the enclosed corner pieces as I’ve mentioned before, but they also enlarged the corner shaft to help it hug the edges and center pieces a bit more. The size of the end of the corner piece is smaller to make room for the edge pieces.

The edges are another story as well. Instead of keeping the edge straight until it gets to the torpedo, they added another “torpedo” effect. This effect has the edge stick out near the center that again hugs the center and corner pieces. The actual torpedo is thick and the edge that holds to the center is short to allow more room for the other pieces.

The centers have a lip to supply a more secure anchor for the pieces to hold on to, and a long core piece as a whole which gives a more stable cube and less movement during turns and cuts.

The MoYu WeiLong V2 is the second revision of the tremendously popular MoYu WeiLong. The most notable change is the way in which the pieces are put together. Other than this, the mechanism remains largely unchanged.

I'm very new here and noticed that you don't have a Help link. (Or at least I can't find it) 
I'm a Wikipedia editor and so I'm assuming you're effectively using the help files of Wikipedia. 
May I suggest that you create a help link in the left hand column and then on the help page effectively say as much and maybe link to the main help search page at Wikipedia. Or maybe you're using the help pages provided by the creators of this Wiki software. 
The thing is that I've just created a GIF for the commutator page and discovered that you don't get a working GIF if you use the Thumb setting to display it. I believe this is unique to this wiki software and I would have liked to have made a note of that so that the next guy could learn from my troubles. 
There was also something else about creating names for image files.

::Hi Dave, The reason we don't have a help link is because the scale of this wiki is quite small. All of the edits are either mostly simple things, like changing the WR pages, or updating something about a person, and most of the page creation is done by someone who has been on here for a while. A help page would only really benefit the few of us who do regular edits and new pages, and so the Wikipedia ones are used since there are no changes that make major differences. As for the GIF Thumb problem, is this also a problem on Wikipedia? If not, you might want to send a message to pjk on the forums about it, he's the site owner, and deals with some of the problems with the Wiki sometimes. Finally, on the subject of names, as long as it is descriptive, and not too long or short, it should be fine. Again, since this is a small wiki, we're unlikely to get conflicts on image names. Although the [[Megaminx]] has twice as many faces as a Rubik's cube, there are usually only three adjacent faces used
in one algorithm, which allows 3x3x3 notation to be used. There are some algorithms that require four or five
adjacent faces that are not related in a way where 3x3x3 notation could be used. Thus, extra notation (or an explanation of how the normal notation works) is needed to write these algorithms without confusion.

== Pochmann notation ==

The official notation used by the [[WCA]] is called Pochmann notation. It uses only six kinds of moves: U and U', wich are executed exactly as they are in 3x3 notation, and R++, R--, D++, and D--. To execute a move, hold the Megaminx by the L face (for an R turn) or the U face (for a D turn) with the left hand use the right hand to move the bulk of the puzzle two-fifths of a turn i the indicated direction. For example, R++ means you should hold the L face and rotate the bulk of the puzzle two-fifths of a rotation (144 degrees) clockwise.

== The Backright and Backleft Faces ==

When solving the last layer, the Megaminx has five faces that surround the top face while the 3x3x3 has four. This means that two of those faces on the Megaminx are in the spot of one face on the 3x3x3. The one face on the 3x3x3 is commonly the back face (B), and the two faces on the Megaminx that are in its spot are the backright (BR) and backleft (BL) faces.

Here is an example of an algorithm that requires the backright and backleft faces:

This algorithm orients all of the edges on the top face of the last layer when one edge is already oriented (and is the closest edge to you). A clockwise turn of the right face is followed by a clockwise turn of the face that is next to it, which is followed by a clockwise turn of the face that is next to that one.

Notice that there is a U2' in this algorithm. On a 3x3x3, a U2' would be the same as a U2, making it useless unless you are specifying [[finger tricks]]. '''On a Megaminx, a U2' is different from a U2.''' A U3' would be the same as a U2, and a U4' would be the same as a U.

== Cube Rotations ==

Cube rotations on the Megaminx are fairly self-explanatory. y (or [u]) and z (or [f]) are performed as normal; however, x (or [r]) requires you to look at the algorithm to decide how to perform it. If the algorithm contains mostly R moves, the right face should probably remain the right face after an x rotation and the backright face should probably become the up face after an x' rotation. If the algorithm contains mostly L moves, the left face should probably remain the left face after an x rotation and the backleft face should probably become the up face after an x' rotation.

== Multiple-Layer Turns ==

Lowercase letters (or a big letter followed by a w) on a 3x3x3 indicate a turn of that face and any middle layers there might be on that puzzle. It is hard to explain how this works on a Megaminx, so here is an example:

r' (or Rw') on a 3x3x3 would be a turn of everything except the left face, which would result in the back face becoming the up face. On a Megaminx, it would also be a turn of everything except the left face, which would result in the backleft face becoming the up face.

The biggest difference from the 3x3 is that slice moves are not possible and therefore methods that solves edges preserving corners are having much longer algorithms.

[[Dayan]] collaborated with [[MF8]], another [[China|Chinese]] company, to produce a 4x4x4 Cube. The MoYu HuanYing is known for having a minimal plastic feel with nothing but the frame of the cube’s interior design. The minimal plastic makes the cube much lighter than it’s competitors, but also makes a lot of noise when speed solving. MoYu took the torpedo design and flattened out the piece, which is very different from the common torpedo structure. The stickers it came with are very bright, usually cubes come with very dull stickers but this one doesn't, they're very good quality. It literally never ever pops. But if you handle it harshly the corners can twist accidentally. Overall it's a great speedcube, a bit noisy.

The interior design is very interesting. Upon first look, the cube looks no different than any other cube, but the inside has very little plastic except of what is only necessary for the cube to function. This causes the cube to be very lightweight and have less friction when turning the cube.

The edge pieces have a bit of a simplistic look up until you get to the very end of the piece. The lip on the edge piece has a nice curve that compliments the corner pieces very well. MoYu seems to have also changed the torpedo on the HuanYing. This “flattened” out torpedo hugs the edge pieces to the corner pieces very well, and seems to reduce the popping significantly. An issue with this is that the cube locks up more since there is no breathing room in the torpedos.

The corner pieces do not show much differences than that of other cubes. It isn’t elongated like the Dayan series, but instead has a distance that seems to have the corner piece “hug” the rest of the cube. Like the edges, there is little breathing room which reduces popping but causes lock-ups.

==== Moyu WeiLong ====

The WeiLong was created after the HuanYing, and with good reason. The HuanYing had some good qualities about it; but like any new cubing company, it is their first cube, and the first cube is never the best.

Understanding what could be better, MoYu took what cubers liked and made it better; while they took what others didn’t like and did their best to fix them. This would include keeping the squished torpedo, adding more plastic to the interior corner pieces, and making the corner cutting even better.

The WeiLong resulted in a fuller cube with less clicks, and fewer lock ups while maintaining quick rotations, great corner cutting, and added stability to keep it all together.

The MoYu WeiLong was a cube that MoYu needed to continue their fame as a brand, and they did just that. The WeiLong has all the great qualities that every cuber looks for, but with the special touch that MoYu brings to make themselves different from every other speed cubing company out there.

What will make the WeiLong stand out compared to the HuanYing is the enclosed corner pieces as I’ve mentioned before, but they also enlarged the corner shaft to help it hug the edges and center pieces a bit more. The size of the end of the corner piece is smaller to make room for the edge pieces.

The edges are another story as well. Instead of keeping the edge straight until it gets to the torpedo, they added another “torpedo” effect. This effect has the edge stick out near the center that again hugs the center and corner pieces. The actual torpedo is thick and the edge that holds to the center is short to allow more room for the other pieces.

The centers have a lip to supply a more secure anchor for the pieces to hold on to, and a long core piece as a whole which gives a more stable cube and less movement during turns and cuts.

==== Moyu WeiLong V2 ====

The MoYu WeiLong V2 is the second revision of the tremendously popular MoYu WeiLong. The most notable change is the way in which the pieces are put together. Other than this, the mechanism remains largely unchanged.

==== MoYu AoLong ====

Out of the box, it is very dry, and not unlike a WeiLong until you test out the corner cutting. The corner cutting is fantastic, with an easy 1 1/2 cubies, and 3/4 reverse. After breaking it in and lubing it, the corner cutting becomes much easier, and better, the dry feeling goes away a little (it’s still a little noisy), and it becomes very fast, though it is very easily gummed up by anything wrong, like excess lube, cube dust or water.The stickers are very, very durable.
