The times for these events must include both the memorization stage and the solving ('execution') stage. Blindfolds are used to block a cuber's vision during blindsolving. Another blind solving discipline called speedBLD allows unlimited memorisation time, and favours methods which are fast to execute, rather than easy to memorise. For hardcore BLD solvers, another variant called multiple blindfolded involves trying to blindfold solve as many cubes as possible.

This "unnamed" method is a popular method used by many Taiwanese beginners when learning how to solve the Rubik's Cube blindfolded. In September 6th Taiwanese YouCuber '一小時學盲解' (@1hrBLD) published a video called '最簡單盲解魔術方塊的解法 - 雙公式盲解教學 | 矇眼復原 3x3 魔方' (translates to: The easiest way to solve a rubik's cube blindfolded - Using only two algorithms tutorial | Solving a 3x3 Blindfolded ) that teaches this exact method. But it's not recommended because the solution is longer than Old Pochmann and also harder to learn than Old Pochmann.

Method Idea
This method solves 1 piece at a time.

Corner

It uses the buffer corner UFR and sets the corner that needs to be solved to the UBR. Then execute the J-perm (PLL algorithm) to switch UFR and UBR.

Notice that the edge UF and UR will also be switched by doing the J-perm, but as long as the number of J-perms in the whole solving process is even, the edges should remain unchanged. If it's odd, then just do an extra J-perm at the end of corner solving. This is how the method deals with the parity problem.

Edge

Following the same idea as the corner, it uses the buffer edge UR and sets every edge to UL, then executes the T-perm (PLL algorithm).

We don't need to worry about the parity issue when solving the edges, because it has already been solved in the corner-solving process. Either an odd or even number of T-perms has been executed will be fine. And never do an extra T-perm at the end of edge-solving.

If it's odd, then it is the case of parity.

Edge

Following the same idea as the corner, it uses the buffer edge UR and sets every edge to UL, then executes the T-perm (PLL algorithm).
