ZZ Is Inevitable: A Video on the future of CFOP

Consider this an accompaniment to Papasmurf's essay on method convergence, and Dylan Miller's 4.25 ao5 recon
Great video! I’ve been talking about this topic with some friends for a while now, and I honestly think a ZZ/CFOP hybrid method is the future. There are so many provided benefits with controlling EO during your CFOP solve like you mentioned (little/no rotations, mostly LUR gen, potential for ZBLL on every solve, etc.) that I honestly think that not utilizing edge orientation well is the biggest thing keeping Yiheng from the sub 4 average.

nah lowkey roux wins vs layer methods.

for now
tbh all this talk about eo in cfop is making me think about in roux

it may not be *as* important because there's no LL in roux

but eo helps with second block edges, so when there is an easy opportunity, i will try to force eo for those edges more often
