If he gets sub 4 before sub 3 single, it'll be the first time since 2010 that the record single and average are in the same second(eg. 3.13 and 3.96). The last time this was the case was when the record single was 7.08 and average was 7.91. And I'm not even sure that counts since the single was broken with a 6.77 on the same day.

I think its definately possible for both to be broken soon, but yiheng probably has more sub 4 avgs than sub 3 singles, and if sub 3 isnt broken by the time we get a sub 4 avg, that would be crazy

the only sub 3 we've seen on cam from yiheng is on a smartcube
and remember that china is super secretive about like everything
