I know that it is a long way away till 2027, but considering that bids are already being made for places, I thought why not start the thread.

Today, SveKub has very exciting news to share with you all.
Sweden will submit an application to host the WCA World Championship in 2027!

We plan to be able to welcome 2000+ competitors from all over the world to a Swedish city in July 2027, to settle for the biggest titles in Speedcubing.

We expect the application to be submitted in the spring...

I doubt it, given that there's always a struggle to find a big enough venue for UK Champs which is about 500 people

Great, but there's already a thread for this, and given that we're well over 2 years away from Worlds 2027, I don't think there's a great deal of point, especially as, for all we know, an absolute powerhouse of a country will bid.
