Words/message on cube - need help fast!

Hi,

I am in desperate need for some help with a rubiks cube.

I am making a rubiks cube with my brand logo and want the cube to spell out two different messages, depending on how it is solved (solved the normal way or solved with some kind of pattern) Does anyone know how I can figure out how to do this?

I did not know the company that is going to make them needed the designs so fast, but I only have until tomorrow.

how long should the messages be? like one letter per sticker or 1 word per sticker? and how many words/letters?

Words per sticker, and i think two messages, four words each. Is it possible? If you have any other solutions with another amount of words/letter, I would gladly take that too

Do you have examples of the messages you would like? You could have the message going clockwise around 4 edges on a face, then perform moves (M2 U2 M2 U2 E2 R2 E2 R2). R2 E2 R2 E2 U2 M2 U2 M2 This shows the moves in action (I'm in school and can't see the applet because Java can't be installed, so hopefully this works). After you perform these moves, the edges from the back face are brought to the front. I'm asking for examples because if you want two totally different messages, then this is probably the approach you want to take.

I`m not sure i know where to put the words... (I don`t really understand the cube, I just know a way of solving it) Can you explain, please?

The two messages are:

1:Når ordene stokker seg
2 Få hjelp i klartekst

Okay, well, if you look at this R2 E2 R2 E2 U2 M2 U2 M2"]LINK[/URL], you can see the moves being performed on the cube and what it looks like before and after. Look at a cube if you have one - "Når" could go on very left sticker of a face. "ordene" could go on the top sticker. "stokker" could go on the right sticker. And "seg" could go on the bottom sticker. You could do the exact same thing for the 2nd message, but do it on the back face. I'm not sure how that will look, but it's an option. The scrambled position of the cube should show opposite colours on one of the faces, put the words on those stickers Let me know if you want to try something else, it's just I think this is the easiest and clearest solution to your problem

Yeah, but it´s confusing. Like I said, not very good at the cube thing

Also, I want the white top layer to have my logo on it, but it wont work with this, will it?

I don't know if I misunderstood this, but I think that the two sides that has words on them have to be the same color or else you can't solve it "wrong".

Yeah, you might be right about that... Maybe i am making it more complicated than it has to be. But is there anyway that my logo can be on the whole of the top(or bottom) while the rest of it is scrambled. Or maybe that only could be if it is the middle dot one the same sides that is not the same as the rest? Understand me?

It would be super easy using a 3D modeling program such as Blender.

I've never actually used it, but there are some good beginner's tutorials on youtube you can find.

You could give them the 2D net of your design. Like a T-shape showing the unfolded cube. Also, my free Rubix simulator program allows you to add pictures to each face of the cube. You can then design each face as an image and test it in the program. See my signature below for a link to the program. You can then even capture images of the 3D cube from the program to send to the company making it.
