according to the logic of this message, the greatest of all time is also 2nd

i would say Max Park. He’s the only one who’s gotten close the GOAT (feliks the cat zemdegs)

I’d probably chose tymon over max park because I feel like tymon is more innovative than max and better at sprint events.

I strongly believe Feliks is the greatest cuber in history due to his dominance in nearly every event for many years. Of course his records have been broken by many others since then, but he even held the 4BLD record and multiple FMC records at one point. Max made PROFOUND leaps in NxN events, but Feliks was excellent at most WCA events while the only non-NxN Max has ever competed in was SQ-1; but clearly, Max's hyperfocus on NxN events yielded immense success in 3x3-7x7 and OH.

We also have to consider what Feliks could accomplish on hardware back then. Comparing my old cubes from 2014/2015 to now is astounding. As you get older too, there's simply less time to drill solves and stay in the loop. He still competes somewhat frequently of course, but an adult work schedule, college, and general life tasks take priority. Nevertheless, he still manages to maintain TEN continental records to this day. Interestingly, Feliks hasn't competed in as many competitions as Max; Feliks is at 164 while Max is at 197. It's worth noting that there are SIGNIFICANTLY MORE competitions now compared to the early 2010's.
