I don't have any 5x5. I want to buy it. Which one should I get? GAN562M, X-man Hong, AoChung V6 (single, double or triple track) or maybe MGC..? Give your advices. Which one better?

A good beginner 5x5x5 is the MGC and also a budget pick. But if price isn't important go for the GAN or the X-MANI don't have any 5x5. I want to buy it. Which one should I get? GAN562M, X-man Hong, AoChung V6 (single, double or triple track) or maybe MGC..? Give your advices. Which one better?
I would highly recommend the AuChoung V6 single(No UV). It’s cheap, really stable, fast, small size, grippy glossy finish for a good price.I don't have any 5x5. I want to buy it. Ngl mgc is a great alternative to the aochuang single and people seem to forget that its still good. Some people might not want a smaller cube or might dislike the feel.I saw that the earlier post on the YJ MGC got a couple of 'meh's' but I personally love this cube. It's cheap, decently fast and I have never had a single problem or complaint about it. Maybe if you are a more advanced 5x5 solver you could go for one of the other ones, but I think the MGC is a good option.
i average 1:03 on 5x5 and i don't think triple track is useful at all on 5x5Moyu AoChuang v6
single track for m cheap
) double track for ball core
Triple track if you're awesome and already average well under 3 minutes at 5×5
if u want to good 5x5 at a decent price then go for the Angstrom MGC. If you don't like cubicle set ups and dont want to break in a cube then get the AoChung v6I don't have any 5x5. I want to buy it. Teach me i need to get this average i need to make the cutoff at my next compi average 1:03 on 5x5 and i don't think triple track is useful at all on 5x5
at least triple track gets rid of the repulsion on 4x4, but on 5x5 it does literally nothing besides making the inner layer magnets stronger
AoChung is currently one of the best on the market. MGC is just becoming middle class alongside the Qiyi M. idk about the xman hong tho. I have a hit or miss issue with GAN so for me imo, I'd head for the AoChung Double Track. Me personally would buy the Single Track but Duo Track is better.I don't have any 5x5. I want to buy it. Well @…. is a big cube grinder.Teach me i need to get this average i need to make the cutoff at my next comp
yeah, i've been doing big cubes for around a year now, and 6 months as the only events that i do. i haven't really had much time to practice in the last couple months, though, because of school.Well @…. is a big cube grinder.
Getting close sub-1 in 5x5 is actually hard y’know
maybe i should grind 5x5 when it's winter break. i should upgrade to better hardware tho cuz my qiyi mag has a broken corner, broke just like my heartyeah, i've been doing big cubes for around a year now, and 6 months as the only events that i do. i haven't really had much time to practice in the last couple months, though, because of school.
i actually mainly focus on 6x6 and 7x7, so the last time i practiced frequently i averaged around 35/1:02/1:44/2:42
honestly it all comes down to
1. doing lots of solves. not too many, though. usually i practice until i'm not doing well because there are just good days and bad days. for example, one time i was averaging around 4:40 on 7x7, and then the next day i was suddenly sub 4:10. practicing a lot on a bad day will just discourage you
2. having good hardware. aosu v7, aochuang v6, coremag aoshi, coremag florian dorito meilong 7v2m. yes you will have to do the mods yourself on 6x6 and 7x7
3. learning new techniques (up to a certain point, you mostly just have to know how to preserve bars, evaluate what to solve and quickly, build various 2x4s and 2x5s on 6x6 and 7x7. kevin hays' tuesday tips covers this)
4. not turning too fast, especially on edges and when you become faster. it's really hard to control sometimes
now that winter break is coming soon i expect to be able to grind more, but i think i'll still focus on 6x6 and 7x7 primarily, since i'm relatively better at those
i do not plan on pursuing other events until i get like actually good at big cubes first, since i believe that they are more skill-based events and i also just like doing them
by the way if you're confused why my official results are so bad compared to what i'm saying here... check the date of those competitions
