Yeah, remembering algs and learning new ones both definitely improve over time.

Do you ever try to see what is happening during an algorithm? A lot of the time they are just taking out F2L pairs and inserting then differently, or in a different order. That helps me remember for some cases.

Nice! What method do you use? I have a bad memory too, but I use ZZ because with 28 algs you can get the same movecounts as full CFOP (which I think is ~80 algs).

Edit: Just checked; OLL+PLL is 78 algorithms.
