What things do you usually bring to comps?

I recently created a checklist of things that I should bring to competitions, and that got me curious: what do you usually bring to competitions? Here's what my checklist looks like:
Items roughly sorted by importance
  • Main cubes
    • it's a cube comp. why wouldn't i bring cubes
  • Backup/warmup cubes (if applicable)
    • this rule applies unless i literally don't have any other speedcube.
  • Blindfold (if applicable)
    • essential for comps with blind events.
  • Phone charger, power bank
    • my phone is 4 years old and the battery keeps getting worse
  • 2L water bottle
    • this water bottle is huge, and i use it every day. can't miss it
  • Earmuffs & earplugs
    • normally used for blind, but i've recently started to use them for regular speedsolves.
  • Camera & mini tripod
    • an old gopro from like 2014. i like filming my solves, despite the fact that i almost never upload them online.
  • Camera charger
    • just in case.
  • Timer & mat
    • keyboard is cheating
  • Super glue
    • you just never know
  • Snacks
    • in case i feel hungry. otherwise, i'll probably perform worse.
  • Hand warmers
    • can you tell i'm a tryhard
  • Screwdriver & adjustment tools
    • in case i don't like how a cube feels during the competition. at my last comp, i had to tighten my 4x4 before second round, and it felt much better to turn.
  • Lube
    • same reason as the screwdriver. i only bring traxxas 50k, which in practice is the only lube i use
  • Chewing gum
    • i may have an addiction
  • Earbuds
    • in case i want to listen to music before i get called up. i almost never do.
  • MicroSD card reader
    • in case i want to review solve footage. again, i rarely do this.
Here's a colorized version that I use:

I bring:
My phone, to do CSTimer and to record my solves
My cubes, to participate with (because thats the whole point!)
Warmup cubes
Earmuffs for silence
Earbuds for music so i can cube relaxed
Cash to buy cubes at the cube store
Food and drinks
Setup Tools
TImer and mat, for cstimer
Backpack
Phone charger (for 2 day comps, i will charge my phone while sleeping at the hotel)

You might want to add an ink pen, sharpie, hand towel, hoodie.

Someone made a couple posts like this on Reddit last year, asking what to pack for their first comp.
There were lots of replies, so you might want to check them out to see what people there suggested:
What else to pack?
What else to pack for comp?

Someone in one of those posts said to bring a pen in case of top speedcubers (meaning if there's a pro speedcuber and you want their autograph).
Kevin Hays responded to make sure it's a sharpie as a regular pen is worthless. (meaning a sharpie can write on anything, pen can't).

My packing list.

Duffel bag: Contains all of my cube collection (about 30-40 puzzles). I like to show off and to trade, and besides, I don't wanna have too many bags around to confuse myself.
My "setup box" contains:
  • a fast lube
  • a slow lube
  • a maintenance lube
  • flathead+Philips head screwdrivers (for magnets and adjustments)
  • superglue + extra 3x2 magnets (in case magnets fall out)
  • moyu compression tools
All my cubes: No explanation needed for mains+warmups but I bring the rest to show-and-tell
Phone and charger: Don't always need the charger but the phone I use to record and check results.
Mini tripod: Good for recording solves.
Earplugs: Useful for longer events like 5x5+ where I get distracted easily.
Giant water bottle: Stay hydrated!
Sharpie: Good for top speedcubers to sign things like cube bags/cases/hats/everything.
Wallet: Good for buying snacks or getting things from on-site cube stores.
Granola bars: A full belly is a focused mind.

cubes, lube, screwdriver, timer, mat, cube cover
bottle of water, a snack to share, lunch, an apple
Earplugs and earphones
Money to buy cubes
Phone
Sleeping bag, pillow, pyjamas, blindfold (nah just kidding for usually but did bring this to my comp this weekend)
I didn't do blindfolded this weekend, but I do bring it when there is a comp with bld. This weekend it came in handy, because I let someone borrow it who forgot his

Cubes (obviously) + extra cubes for warmup/events that aren’t in the comp i still want to practice/in case i need a different cube
Lubes, screwdrivers, other adjustment/setup tools
Mat and stackmat timer (good to do comp sim ao5s before events)
iPad, phone
iPad charger & iPhone charger (Only using those at the accommodation normally)
Headphones (for listening to music while practicing)
[Tripod (except mine broke so bi-pod??)]
GoPro
Food and drink (sometimes I bring a drink to my competing group too)
Wallet

1. Red Bull
2. Cubes (Except that time I forget my main clock, borrowed someone else’s, PRd, and won)
3. Stackmat/timer
4. Lubes and screwdriver
5, Car keys
6. Wallet
7. 2 extra clocks
8. Myself
9. Earmuffs (I’ve only used these once due to a large comp in a small room with suspiciously loud competitors)
10. Lucky skeleton
11. Water
12. Phone/phone charger
13. 2 hours of sleep

2. Cubes (Except that time I forget my main clock, borrowed someone else’s, PRd, and won)
Lol, I did literally the same thing (except not the winning part). Then immediately afterward, I found my old Shengshou in my pocket (mens pockets have too much power)

10. Lucky skeleton
Oh that reminds me, I bring a stuffed Hampter as well (his name is Kyle, say hello Kyle on my profile) as good luck.

I just being the cubes I am competing with. For example, if I am competing in 3x3, 2x2, and Pyraminx, I’ll just bring one of each, since I don’t have a backup to any of those.
