it kinda makes you wonder how much other stuff in the news is completely wrong just because the reporter decides to take the liberty of rephrasing something

The company I work for did the funeral for a relatively famous person recently.
Every news paper in the UK put a small article in the day after he died.
Every single one of them got his age and place of death wrong.

Reporting doesn't seem to require correct information.
