For a 4x4x4 you can put some tape over the centers and only take out the corners and edges. That way you don't have to disassemble and reassemble the entire cube. Saves at least an hour.

Ask your questions. I've magnetized dozens of cubes from 2x2 - 7x7.

Na I mean questions would arise mid magnetising. (Makes sense?)

the meilong m is in my opinion the best 4x4 just because of its small size, and fluid turning, but dont put too strong of magnets in it. 5x1 n35 is way too strong.

I put 4x1.5 n35s on the outters tho and that feels really nice

4x1 N35 on the inners and 4x2 N35 on the outers for me. Works great.

What about 3x2 N35 on the inners and 4x2 N35 on the outers? Will that work well?

I have no idea what is strong or weak magnets so what would you suggest I buy to magnetise a meilong? Fairly strong ish please?

Fairly strong? 4x1 N48 for inners, 4x2 N42 outers.

I would still recommend 4x1 N35 inner, 4x2 N35 outer, however.

You might have to wait forever. I'm not expecting MeiLong Ms to get made by MoYu. But MoYu is supposed to let me know if they change their minds.

I agree. MFJS didn't factory magnetise cubes like the MF3RS2, did they? Or was it done my Cube companies like the Cubicle?

I'm very nervous, as I'm going to attempt to do it myself. I feel like I will mess up the polarities or something basic like that.

I magnetized my first cube a few days ago and it was a Meilong 4x4. I also used TCKewbz's tutorial. Don't worry. You'll be fine as long as you leave the pieces to dry in plenty of time.

The MF3RS3 was factory magnetised, but that's hardly a budget cube anymore at 15 dollars.

Ye your right, I’ll get the RS3 and see how it goes...

For what it's worth, the spring noises for MF3RS3 went away after about 100+ solves. Now it feels like a slightly premium version of YLM, stable but dry without lube.

im looking for a new 4x4, and am wondering whether i should get an aosu wrm, or and aosu gts2m. i have small hands, but i dont know if its worth it to just shave off 2mm for the extra cost. what do you guys think?
